My friend and psychic teacher Robin will be teaching another series of psychic awareness classes this coming fall and spring. Here is the info from Robin:

AWAKENED SPIRIT
A psychic awareness & channeling development class

Wednesdays beginning September 21
Level 1: September - December 2005
Level 2: January - April 2006

WHAT IS CHANNELING? Channeling is communicating with spirit. There is a sacred conversation happening between you & Spirit every moment of every day yet your ears are not trained to hear it. Channeling is the ability to hear & directly participate in this conversation with Spirit. In this class you will refine your awareness & open to receive increasingly subtle expressions of Spirit.

CAN ANYONE DO THIS? Yes. Through doing this work I have seen that everyone has the ability to channel for everyone has the ability to listen deeply & be in alignment with their spirit. If you genuinely want to hear what your spirit, body, & guides are saying to you, then you have everything that is needed to successfully open yourself to this path.

HOW WILL OPENING MY PSYCHIC ABILITIES & LEARNING TO CHANNEL BENEFIT ME? The more deeply we connect with ourselves, the more deeply we connect with others,
including Spirit. Strengthening the clarity & wholeness of your relationship with your spirit allows you to create & live from a place of your unique truth. As you deepen your trust & understanding of yourself, you will naturally open to divine guidance for these processes are one & the same. Having a personal relationship with Spirit will open you to receive the profoundly transformational level of support, guidance, & love that is always available to you. Opening your psychic abilities will empower you, allow you to live in greater clarity, assist you in creating the life you truly want to lead & deepen your relationship with love, trust, faith, commitment, willingness, allowing, receptivity, & surrendering.

WHAT'S REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS CLASS?

*Willingness & commitment to yourself, to the process, & to Spirit.
*Ability to take on & commit to a daily meditation practice & complete weekly assignments that may take between 1-2 hours.
*A life that is spacious enough to allow integration of all that will come to you.

WHAT SHOULD I CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING THIS CLASS?
Embarking upon this path will transform every aspect of your life & you must be prepared to have your eyes opened to unseen aspects of yourself, your life, others, & life in general. This process is similar to waking up in the morning. When you first wake your eyes are sleepy & your room & surroundings are vague & dreamy looking. You can't tell if it's sunny or cloudy outside - you only know that it's brighter than it was when you were sleeping just a few moments ago.
Once you wake up a bit more & open your eyes you can clearly see the vivid details of your room & the weather outside. Everything seems to transform in those sweet moments of awakening but the only thing that has really changed is your ability to see what was already there. Opening your psychic abilities is just the same & in committing to this process, you must be prepared to view your life in increased clarity & be willing to take personal responsibility for what you see.
As you can imagine, this work is both empowering, transformational, & spiritually activating while also emotionally demanding, soul searching &, at times, discombobulating. You will get to know aspects of yourself that you may find challenging & you will be asked to courageously walk through your fears & resistances. Areas of disempowerment & things you've consciously or unconsciously agreed to accept as blind spots will likely come to the forefront of your awareness & require your loving attention. Embarking on this work is like sending out a call to life that you are consciously stepping onto your life path & that you earnestly want to begin living your life as who you are on a spirit level. Life will increase its support of you to achieve this goal & you will be asked to accept responsibility for your choice to mature & live in greater awareness & power. If you are ready to spiritually empower yourself, activate your direct connection to Spirit, & live your life as the divine being you are, then this class is for you.

CLASS FORMAT
This class is taught in 3 levels. Level 1 lays the inner foundation & plants the seed needed to open more deeply to Spirit. Level 2 develops & refines your abilities & allows you learn how to receive, interpret, & share the divine guidance that is available to you through channeling for yourself & others. Level 3 is an ongoing class that serves as a practicum for students who have completed levels 1 & 2. Each week we will tie together meditation, group process, & experiential work in a safe, nurturing space that allows you to refine your gifts while connecting with other like-minded people who are committed to opening to Spirit.

Level One: September 21 - December 21
Topics covered: Meditation, grounding, boundaries, energetic awareness & clearing, connecting with your inner voice, listening to & trusting your body & imagination, working with fears, self care, developing intuitive confidence, willingness & courage to follow guidance, asking for help, & chakras.

Level Two: January - April (dates tba)
Topics covered: Deepened exploration of all of the topics introduced in Level 1, refining & trusting your intuition, understanding energy more channeling techniques & tools, reading for yourself & others, applying the guidance you receive to your life, risk taking, trust, surrendering, discernment, receptivity, willingness.

WHEN: Wednesdays 6:30 - 9:45
DATES: 11 classes total. 9/21, 28. 10/5, 12, -, 26. 11/ 2, 9, 16, -, 30. 12/7, -, 21.
INVESTMENT: $390-$495 ($35-45/class), sliding scale.
Please pay the most you are able to pay so that others who need to pay less can attend. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space in the class.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Following the death of a close friend in 2000, I began having many opening experiences that led me to pursue my ability to channel. During that time I completed 2.5 semesters at the California Institute of Integral Studies studying to be a psychotherapist but withdrew when it became clear that my path was that of a medium & artist. I have offered this class 6 times & have been genuinely amazed & inspired by the profound openings I have witnessed during these classes as they have come with greater ease & speed than I ever could have imagined. I am grateful for the opportunity to be immersed in this work & hope to share it with you.
