Global warming

I was talking to my boyfriend earlier about how I think that people are going to become more receptive to receiving psychic services all over the world, not just in spiritual hubs like the Bay Area.

A couple of hours later I came across a blog post Dori in Portland had written. Dori says:

dude started reading my mind and telling me about it right there on the sidewalk. i was simultaneously impressed and creeped out by it, but i took his card anyway, thinking to myself, "there's no way in hell i'll ever pay a guy fifty bucks an hour for 'psychic services' - christ, i am so in Oregon now - buncha fruity hippies, jeezus!"

so i was packing the other day when I came across his card again. i gave him a call and he started reading my mind over the phone... i was simultaneously impressed and creeped out by it. this time i booked an appointment.

stranger things have happened...

Something similar happened to me last year. A guy giving me a massage at a party started reading me psychically and telling me about it. For instance, he told me that I had some creative talents that I wasn't using - which was so true! I have always liked hearing other people say things about myself, so I found everything he told me very interesting. Like Dori, I also took his card but didn't call him until six months later. Six months later I made an appointment with him and came to his office for a full hour reading that was very restorative and transformational.

If it can happen to me and Dori, it can happen to lots of people, which is exactly the point I was making to my boyfriend earlier today*. Thanks for the backing, Dori!

*He didn't disagree either.
