Career and money come up all the time as topics in my sessions. That's why I am now a circle leader in training with Financial Circles. They're a very conscious and community-oriented new company that facilitates workshops about money and finances. The workshops are practical but also very spiritually and emotionally focused. That focus is what appealed to me about the company.
I will be taking their 2 ½ day workshop called the Prosperity Intensive the weekend of August 3-5 in Oakland. The workshop will have several "circles." The circles will each have a theme, such as artists, women entrepreneurs, healers, small business owners, etc. Once I am fully trained as a circle leader, I will start, well, leading those kinds of circles myself and can even create new ones with my own themes, such as performance artists (can we say hoop?), indie fashion designers, aspiring authors, etc. I think it will be really great to strengthen our relationships to money while sitting in a circle of like-minded and similarly-interested people.
I was first attracted to Financial Circles because I still sometimes hit financial rough spots now that I am working for myself as a freelance multi-tasker. By registering for this workshop I am committing to be more powerful in the area of money.
But what I am even more excited about is that as a circle leader I will soon be able to facilitate that kind of transformation for my clients and in my community. A circle I would really like to create is one for 9 to 5 refugees, i.e. people who are in the process of leaving the 9 to 5 world in order to pursue a lifestyle that suits their personalities better. I did this myself a couple of years ago, and it was (and still sometimes is) scary as hell. It is now one of my missions in life to be a source of support and inspiration for others who would like to jump off of a similar cliff and discover that they can fly.
Check out Financial Circles for yourself and see if you would like to get involved.
