Take a time-out

Our lives are so busy these days, we hardly ever sit still. Meditation takes time and dedication, but what about a five minute time-out every day? I keep a magnetic stop watch on my fridge, set to five minutes. Every day I start it, and then I sit still. Doing nothing. Staring at the wall. Or out the window. Not drinking tea, not eating food, not with my laptop, not with a book. I just sit there, still. And I often have my best ideas during those five minutes.
